CBSE Curriculum

  1. The medium of the School is English & Co – educational institution.
  2. 1st Language is taught in English from Class Pre-Nursery to V (Five) based on CBSE Curriculum.
  3. Bengali & Hindi as optional Second Language are taught from Class Nursery to V (Five).

Academic Evaluation

  1. Evaluation can take the form of examination held at regular intervals. Unit tests, Daily Assessments, Surprise Tests or other more informal methods under “Montessori Method” and based on C.B.S.E curriculum/New Delhi.
  2. Parents/Guardians should attend the Parent – Teacher Meeting when conducted by the School Administration.
  3. For Students who are absent for Unit Test / Terminal Examination, no provision will be made Supplementary tests/examinations.
  4. Progress Report of general progress will be given to the parents during the year. Progress reports need to be returned to the school authorities signed by the parents or guardians within three days, except for the Final Results.
PROMOTION

The whole year’s performance of the students will be taken into account for promotion. Promotion is granted on the basis of the whole years works including co-curricular performance. Parents will be informed and their support is requested. The decision of the Head of the school with this regard to promotion is final.

If, Parents/guardians wants to withdraw his/her ward during the session, he/she is requested to note that entire amount deposited at the time of withdrawal.

No provision for any kind of lateral admission to this school.

ROUTINE

Timing of the routine is subject to change with the seasons. Classes are held daily begins with an Assembly which starts with a prayer of patriotic song.

Game & Sports

This school has adequate facilities of play ground and other infrastructures for game and sports. Students take part in regular in play time.

In spite of the best possible attention, students occasionally meet with accidental injuries during their playtime as well as other physical activities, or may suffer from diseases and psychological problems. The school cannot be held responsible for any such contingency, even if it unfortunately amounts to be fatal, school needless to mention, does its utmost according to its capacity duly information to the parents/guardians until they personally come and take over the case.

Attendance

  1. Regular attendance at school is in the interest of the students. It builds up a sense of devotion to duty and a hobbit for regularity and discipline.
  2. No child may leave the school during the class hours without special permission of the Principal / Teachers / Office – in – charge only if a written request from parents is submitted.
  3. Irregular attendance, habitual idleness, disobedience or bad conduct injurious to the moral tone of the school. Those whose attendance, fails short of 80% may be debarred from the Final Examination.

Discipline

Perfectly disciplined and morally strong children are the most valuable assets of society & the Nation. Co-operation of parents/guardians are necessary to cultivate these qualities, in order to raise them as good citizens. To teach discipline at home is vital for a student and the school. Children could be better educated putting a sense of self – discipline and self-respect, placing trust in their intrinsic ability. Students who have an aptitude for leadership are given opportunities to organize events. Lack of co-operation on the part of guardians would imply that they do not want real development of their wards and this may result in the failure or the students to adjust and consequently their ultimate removal from the institution.

Telephone/Mobile

Parents/Guardians are requested to must write their Telephone / Mobile no. at the time of admission in admission form. If, there is any urgency during the school timing, the call has to be made to you by the office immediately.

Extra – Curricular Activity

Creative activities besides the academic affairs play an important role in the personality development of the students. Bearing this in mind, programme of various co-curricular activities are framed. Students should participate in them according to their preferences. Attendance is compulsory during all the activity days.

Fees & Charges

  1. The detailed information regarding fees/ charges is available at the school office.
  2. Tuition Fees should be paid from 1st to 15th of each month in cash, failing which Rs. 10/- will be imposed per month as fine. Fees will be collected on all the working days from Monday to Friday.
  3. The school fees cover twelve calendar months. No reduction is made for holidays for broken periods.
  4. Tuition fees may be revised even during the middle of the year to meet the school staff salary and other expenses.
  5. The fees for the months of February & March must be paid in the month of January in every year otherwise your ward may be debarred from final exams.

Concession

The facility of concession is being offered to the children of BPL card holders. Needy guardians may apply to avail this facility (as per extent rules of R.T.E.A. -09). Their number being limited, they are sanctioned on the basis of total strength of each class from class –I to v.

Uniform

The school uniform is important and student should come to the school wearing a neat and tidy uniform. Untidiness in dress and slovenliness in behavior damage the image of the student and the school.

Any student who does not wear the correct uniform may be refused entry to the class.

Holidays/Vacations

  1. There are three vacations during the year, summer vacation, Puja vacation and Christmas vacation.
  2. The School Calendar reflects the programme of the whole year with indicating Vacation Periods, Class days & holidays etc.
  3. Saturday is usually the weekly holiday, but special classes also may be open to cover up the syllabus.
  4. Sunday is the rest day.
